It is unbelievable that a country who has opened its heart and borders to the  world has suffered such an inhumane and horrific blow from a group of fanatical maniacs under the leader ship of a very twisted and evil man and his self-made religious convictions.

Usama bin Laden

This man has tremendous wealth but instead of using his resources and power to benefit his countrymen, he chooses to destroy all those who would disagree with his egocentric convictions.  He has declared himself as a self-appointed disciple of Allah dedicated to destroying all the infidels of the free and Christian world.

If we were to examine the motives of this madman and his followers, it would be a more accurate statement to say that, twisted with jealousy of our great country and power,  and the tenets of Christian doctrine, he is looking for revenge . . . not religious conviction.  Why?  Because, unable to realize ultimate power in his own native land, he inwardly feels powerless and is jealous of the free world and its leadership & accomplishments.  Consequently, he and his disillusioned followers, embittered with their unrealized power struggles and disillusioned with their country's  impoverished environment, they seek a scapegoat for all the poverty, social ills, disease, hunger, etc. within their native borders. Who is this scapegoat?
Unfortunately, it's
America  and the free world.  When someone is jealous of what you have - your freedom, prosperity, and lifestyle - they endeavor to take it away from you.

These twisted fanatics hate the U.S.  Yet they have no problem in coming over here and exploiting the American economy and/or  savagely plotting to destroy its great cities and people.  And what is so sad - we have assisted them in our own environment of a free democracy.  They have been allowed to come and go within the country, availing themselves of our services and hospitality.

Wake up America!  Let  government know how displeased you are that these people are allowed to travel freely within the country.  We must tighten up our unrealistic immigration policy and take a firm and resolved stand as to who may cross our borders. Let us all become more committed to protecting our country and its people.

God bless America

You and I have been watching coverage of the  heart-wrenching attack on New York City and  the staggering amount of innocent people who were killed and injured.   As the days pass, we watch this horrific event in disbelief, shock, horror and we are fearful that it might happen again somewhere else.  Somehow, we were caught by surprise and our national security has been compromised.  We are
angry and want to punish whomever is responsible.

Instead of feeling a sense of hopelessness and sadness, we must rise to the challenge ahead.  We must pray to God to give us determination and courage and help us to lead the way.  We must be prepared to fight evil - and we will!

Our hearts and sympathy goes out to all those who have suffered loss of loved ones.  We too feel their pain and loss.

We thank all the brave and courageous fire fighters, police men and women, construction workers, and civilians who have given so much of themselves in this time of crisis.  We are especially remorseful of all those who have given their lives.

We commend all TV commentators, reporters,  cameramen and women for their on-the-scene reporting, many times putting their lives at risk.

We pray our president, intelligence, armed forces, & government officials will make wise and effective decisions.

These are very significant times we are living in and we are all making our own contribution in many areas.
